Bio: Veronica N. Davis was born February 22, 1991 in Chicago, Illinois, and is the youngest of four girls. Davis began writing at age 8 and immediately decided she wanted to become an author. At 17 she completed her first novel “BLIND THIRST”. It was designed (she’s also a graphic designer) & published by the author. It was released on September 24, 2009, the year she turned 18. In addition to making her lifelong dream a reality, she worked on LGBT rights movements in her hometown, participated in outreach programs, and kept active in numerous support groups for LGBT youth. She often refers to the LGBT as her “extended family” and set up an e-mail for fans to contact her if they ever needed to talk (e-mail: VNDavis@ymail.com). In a 2009 interview with Teen Diaries she was quoted saying, “We were born alone, that doesn’t mean we have to be alone. We’re family, and they’re supposed to take care of each other. The LGBT is a huge family…we have to be there to hold each other up when everyone else is willing to let us fall, and I don’t know about you…but I would never let my family fall.”
