Bio: A 2009 college graduate with a degree in communications Laniaya Alesia has been working with Velvetpark Media since the fall of 2008. Starting as an intern with Velvetpark she is currently the production editor for the LGBT website. Along with her role at VP, Alesia works as a statical and political analyzer for a firm. Alesia discovers trends by surveying controlled groups, quantitative and qualitative data, database research and evaluating information by tracking political campaigns and pacs as well as non-profits.
Currently Alesia is working on her first book about the lgbt community, religion and political undertones that each of them represent.
